Description Robert Orzanna 2016-03-01 15:39:57 UTC
Dear all,

Is there any way one can add an individual file as a bookmark to the bookmarks sidebar?

This would be a great way to quickly access a file that one is currently working on.

If this is not possible as of now, do you consider it a useful feature for the future codebase?

Thankfully,

~Robert

Hi Robert, thanks for the suggestion.

Indeed, such a feature will be very useful. It has been planned for a while as "Starred files" and it's finally being implemented by Alexandru Pandelea as a Google Summer of Code project.

It's too late for nautilus 3.26, but it's expected to be released in nautilus 3.28.
