gradient not rendered properly

Created attachment 322711 [details] background gradient not rendered correctly The blue/black background on the attached pdf is not rendered correctly. Several white strokes are visible everywhere. It is rendered correctly with Okular or Chromium viewer. (smooth gradient)
Hi, Thanks for reporting this bug. However, the bug is in poppler (the PDF library used by Evince). Specifically, in the cairo backend. To reproduce it with only poppler tools: General poppler: $ pdftoppm 047838.pdf test $ eog test-1.ppm Poppler cairo backend: $ pdftocairo -png 047838.pdf $ eog 047838-1.png Then, you can the differences between both. Please, file a bug in https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=poppler

I usually wait for the bug report in the freedesktop to link it here (just in case, you know, for for future reference), and if after a while there is no information, I closed several bug reports at once. I am unsure of the benefit, though :-)
