GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 762879
Must verify CalDAV endpoint before creating calendar
Last modified: 2019-10-10 13:59:50 UTC
1. Open the Calendars dialog in California 2. Click the Plus button to add a new calendar 3. Select CalDAV 4. Type in a name, “Test” 5. Type in the URL “https://” 6. Click the Subscribe button Expected: * the button to remain disabled until a full URL is entered. * for California to at least contact the server and verity that it is a CalDAV server. Actual: * you just added a completely broken calendar source.
California is not under active development anymore and saw its last non-cosmetic code changes in March 2016: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/california/commits/master Its codebase has been archived in https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/california/issues/1 Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of GNOME Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again. You may want to use `gnome-calendar`.
