Just a random animated gif that doesnt played by gnome-photos

Hi,

When I tried to import my Google photos, I notice that animated gif are not animated. I also tried to open a animated gif from local, and it doesn't work neither

To reproduce, just try to open an animated gif.
I attach the gif which I tried

We discussed animated GIFs in Madrid [1]. We should concentrate on static images (JPEG, PNG, RAW, etc.) and avoid GIFs for the time being. We can revisit GIFs further down the road.
