GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 762580
100% usage of one CPU core after clicking "Other Locations"
Last modified: 2016-05-10 08:01:16 UTC
After going to "Other Locations" natilus starts the gvfsd-smb-browse process as it searches for networks. This process remains running even after Nautilus is closed and consumes 100% usage of 1 CPU core.
Thanks for your bug report. However this is not a Nautilus, nor GVfs bug. It is bug in samba. See my comments on: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1303300
