GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 762315
Assistant pages have no padding which looks weird
Last modified: 2016-02-20 16:29:48 UTC
Using gtk 3.18.7 on Ubuntu, the assistant page have no marging/padding, the result is that e.g the "next" button is in the corner See screenshot from gtk3-demo That's probably due to https://git.gnome.org/browse/gtk+/commit/?h=gtk-3-18&id=cfd85dee03509fa88b1c50326ffad6b0446af326 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=750631 which is corresponding bug states "Unfortunately, I'm not convinced this is compatible enough - it will visually break quite a few assistants out that that assume the padding." That seems to be a summary of the issue ... if it was decided to go this way, should the notes mention it and the demo be updated to show how the padding should be done from the client code?
what screenshot ?
