Description David 2016-02-17 02:35:25 UTC
When using the Estimate button to populate a budget with figures based on existing transactions, Expense account figures are entered as negative numbers. This contradicts what the totals window expects, resulting in totals that are grossly inaccurate.
Comment 1 Adrien 2018-02-04 00:52:40 UTC
This bug is no longer present on Mac OS at least as of 2.6.19 but I suspect earlier. I've been using this feature since whatever version was current as of 1/1/17 and estimated expenses were positive as expected. This should probably be closed as FIXED.
Comment 2 John Ralls 2018-02-04 04:34:18 UTC
That might be dependent on inputs, so David do think it's fixed too?
Comment 3 Geert Janssens 2018-02-04 07:19:08 UTC
It may even depend on the setting of the sign-reversal option. There are other reports suggesting the budget feature is not handling that very well.
