Description Sri Ramkrishna 2016-02-08 18:34:08 UTC
We are working on a new conference for the United States, and need a new vhost so that I can start getting volunteers to start designing the new website. It would be great if we could get this within a week or so. Thanks!!

Questions from IRC:

<av> sri, what programming language is going to be used?
<av> do you need a git repo set up as well?
<av> how's the code going to be picked up?
Comment 2 Sri Ramkrishna 2016-02-18 18:30:27 UTC
Please duplicate whatever it is for GUADEC. Tobi told me that the conference software might be changing. Can we get that straightened out? In any case, let's go ahead and create it, and yes, I would like a git repository for the changes. I might have to teach folks on how to use git, but it will be worth it.
Comment 3 Alexandre Franke 2016-02-19 10:33:53 UTC
If we're rolling with WP+regcfp as we did for the last two GUADEC editions (and which I recommend), then we probably don't need the git repo.

Also I'd rather go with las.gnome.org
Comment 4 Sri Ramkrishna 2016-02-19 15:51:35 UTC
Las.gnome.org is perfect, let's do what Alexandre recommends.
Comment 5 Andrea Veri 2016-02-25 13:12:07 UTC
las.gnome.org is up and running with a WP installation. Sri is the current administrator of the instance. For the theme let me know if you need a repository hooked up to the instance.

Let me know if anything else is needed from our side.

Thank you, Andrea, it seems we have everything now.
