Glade palette blackens

When I open an existing glade file in the UI (on my UbuntuGNOME Trusty 14.04 LTS), the palette on the left just blackens with a dark background. PFA the attached screencast to see this symptom.

Looks like a theme bug to me
Comment 2 Prahlad Yeri 2016-02-01 13:43:18 UTC
Thanks, Matthias. I'm using the default Adwaita theme which came installed with UbuntuGNOME. Is there any dconf setting or something which can fix this?
