In my programs menu under System Tools I have a program called "System
Colours".  I thought this would be gcolorel, but it runs gnome-system-log...

What is wrong? The title or the filename?

Looks like an error in the British translation:

[kevin@localhost logview]$ grep Colours ./*
grep: ./CVS: Is a directory
grep: ./doc: Is a directory
./gnome-system-log.desktop:Name[en_GB]=System Colours
grep: ./help: Is a directory
grep: ./pixmaps: Is a directory


I'm not sure where to file translation bug reports, Perhaps you can
email the i18n mailing list.
