GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 761379
Need to create mailing list las-gnome@gnome.org
Last modified: 2016-02-12 17:43:18 UTC
Hi! I'm looking to create a mailing list called 'las-gnome'. This is a mailing list to discuss and promote the new North American GNOME conference LAS GNOME - Libre Application Summit hosted by GNOME. The owner will be me for now. I might add someone else later as more people get involved.
Hi Sri, For GUADEC we usually have several mailing lists and aliases. Are you aware of those? I'm wondering if 1 public mailing list is really what you're after or not.
Sorry, didn't see the reply for some reason: The problem is that then there will be a lot of noise on two different conferences. The organizers are going to be two completely different set of people working on two different concepts. I could do it, but I don't want to distract GUADEC organizers on a conference they aren't working on. It's better to have a public mailing list with our own organizers IMHO. But I'm aware that we don't have unlimited resources. So I will leave it to you.
I didn't mean to suggest to use those. I was wondering if one is enough or better to have a setup like guadec. I guess one for now. I only will have access tomorrow again. I'll setup then if nobody beats me.
Oh! One is enough for now. Might add a other one for content
