Last modified: 2018-05-24 18:42:22 UTC
Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS rhythmbox: 3.2.a1+ppafossfreedom2trusty+gitf873eaf-1 GNOME 3.8.4 (Ubuntu 2015-12-02) Kernel 3.13.0-74-generic (#118-Ubuntu SMP Thu Dec 17 22:52:10 UTC 2015) GCC version 4.8 (x86_64-linux-gnu) Xorg version 1.15.1 (12 February 2015 02:49:29PM) When extracting audio cds as mp3 with rhythmbox i get a parasite and repeating sound. (sounds like "woa" low sound)
I imported the track with maximum quality in vbr (variable bit rate). The file imported seems to be low quality, very small size, but there are no parasite sounds when reading with audacity. Audacity tells stereo 11025Hz 32 bits floating. I just tested with Rhythmbox 3.3.
