Description Chuck Crisler 2016-01-26 01:41:03 UTC
I downloaded the GStreamer MSI for Windows, version 1.6.3. The install ran without any problems. However, the plugin for capturing video from a webcam (ksvideosrc) isn't included. Neither is the libgstwinks.dll, which has the element (or would, if it were there). This is supposed to be included.

Did you install with all plugins or with the default selection? It is definitely built here as part of latest GIT master, might be a packaging problem otherwise.

Also when extracting the .msi here, the file is available.
Comment 3 George Yunaev 2016-02-17 08:10:12 UTC
libgstwinks.dll is definitely installed from 1.6.3 with a complete install:

ast> msiexec /i ~/download/gstreamer/gstreamer-1.0-x86-1.6.3.msi

ast> find /home/tim/.wine/drive_c/gstreamer/ -iname \*wink\*
/home/ast/.wine/drive_c/gstreamer/1.0/x86/lib/gstreamer-1.0/libgstwinks.dll
