Currently, the configure script hardcodes pkg-config as the spelling for pkg-config. However, when cross-compiling, this is not guaranteed. Use the canonical variable $PKG_CONFIG.

This is a duplicate of bug #755707 right?
Comment 2 Saleem Abdulrasool 2016-04-22 02:35:33 UTC
No, this is applied to a subproject, but it is related.
Comment 3 Laurent Bigonville 2016-04-22 07:20:45 UTC
This problem has been fixed in the unstable development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. You may need to upgrade your Linux distribution to obtain that newer version.
