This should be added as gtk-doc comments to the source code so that it shows up in the generated HTML documentation

Don't see any reason not to push this in the mean time, since it's also not clear to me where to put this via gtk-doc really.

I'll have to try if the pipelines can really not be replicated with gst-launch.

One thing I wondered is: if these other elements are internal and not to be used, should they be exposed as elements? Are they useful in other cases perhaps? If not, we should just hide them and create them internally via g_object_new().
