GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 760339
Text tool formatting overridden by tool option values at the initial position
Last modified: 2016-01-09 11:55:30 UTC
Repeatable. Create a text block. Type some text. Select all text. Format using any different font, size, color. (Note: I haven't tested others such as anti-aliasing, hinting, justification, etc.) Use the arrow keys to move the text insertion cursor into the zero-th character position of the text box and the text insertion cursor's font format erroneously picks up the default font values from the Text Tool Options' window. Typing new text from that 0th location creates text using the Text Tool Option values and not the font, size, nor color selected above. What I'm expecting when I arrow to the 0th position and start typing is that I should still have text created using the font, size, and color I selected above.
