Description Bastien Nocera 2016-01-07 16:44:12 UTC
I went to my insurance's website (https://www.maif.fr/) which still uses RC4 as a cipher. I got the error:

"
Oops! Unable to display this website.
The site at “https://www.maif.fr/” seems to be unavailable. The precise error was:

Peer failed to perform TLS handshake

It may be temporarily unavailable or moved to a new address. You may wish to verify that your internet connection is working correctly.
"

I would have expected an error message telling me that the encryption used by the website was insecure, so I knew that the problem was with the website, rather than an epiphany bug.

Reopening. This bug was migrated to https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib, but it should have been migrated to https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib-networking.
