Description David Serrano 2015-12-15 14:25:10 UTC
The behaviour is almost the same as reported in bug 703965.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a vpnc connection with passwords (group password and user pasword) on the VPN tab
2. Edit the newly created connection
3. Press Cancel
4. Edit the connection again

The previously saved passwords are blanked.

I am using Linux Mint 17 Qiana.

~ dpkg -s network-manager
Package: network-manager
Architecture: amd64
Version: 0.9.8.8-0ubuntu7.2
Comment 1 Thomas Haller 2015-12-16 15:31:36 UTC
Sidenote: 0.9.8 is quite old and no longer actively supported upstream.

I could not reproduce this with network-manager-applet-1.0.6-5.fc23.x86_64

bugzilla.gnome.org is being shut down in favor of a GitLab instance.
We are closing all old bug reports and feature requests in GNOME Bugzilla which have not seen updates for a long time.

If you still use NetworkManager and if you still see this bug / want this feature in a recent and supported version of NetworkManager, then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/-/issues/

Thank you for creating this report and we are sorry it could not be implemented (workforce and time is unfortunately limited).
