Description Nicolas Maia 2015-12-14 13:44:45 UTC
Mapillary provides CC-BY-SA-licensed street-level images based on OSM. It would be nice to have this feature in Maps.

I have looked at mapillary before and even tried to implement some stuff with it.
The thing is I do no know how we would use this.

Do you have any idea? Andreas, aday, anyone do anyone have an idea how we would use this in Maps?

Can someone find any prior art of using Mapillary with open street map data?
Maybe there are some inspiration here: https://www.mapillary.com/osm.html

Thanks!

I think it could work similarly to how Google does it: a small strawman that you can place it in the map.

Mapillary recently released a web library in JS to do something similar, it may be worth it to check it out: http://blog.mapillary.com/update/2016/02/10/mapillary-js.html
