GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 759434
100% zoom keyboard shortcut documentation and button/menu entry.
Last modified: 2017-08-10 19:42:10 UTC
The 100% zoom function is currently only accessible via hotkeys 'Ctrl-0' or '1'. Only the former is documented in the help. I think keyboard shortcuts should have an associated button (or more like popular buttons/menu items should have keyboard shortcuts). This is important for discovering the function exists and touch screens where keyboard shortcuts are much less practical than visual buttons. This issue has been brought up in the related Bug 748913.
Just realized the button does exist but only in full screen mode on the toolbar which drops down at the top. Why does the top toolbar change completely between full screen and window mode? Full screen has everything except zoom slider whereas windowed mode has the exact opposite. Shouldn't they be pretty much the same?
Thanks. I fixed the docs for 3.25.90 in https://git.gnome.org/browse/eog/commit/help/C?id=eec19cc037d444960f62004702514bdc7648e250 Closing this user documentation task as resolved.
Thanks André! :)
