Description chris 2015-12-11 15:53:39 UTC
Hi,

I tried several vte3 terminals (gnome-germinal, mate-terminal-vte3) so i decide to report the bug here because it seems a problem of vte.

the first line was cut off in tintin if #split is active

you have to install tintin mud client for this.
http://tintin.sourceforge.net/
its mostly available in the repositorys or in the AUR (in case of Arch)

reproduce
1. run orca
2. run gnome-terminal
3. run tintin -> Type "tintin" into the gnome-terminal
4. type "#help"

orca announces:
ACTION, ALIAS, ALL, BELL,
BREAK, BUFFER[...]

5. type "#split" into tintin
note: tintin has a mode called split. this separates the input from the output, otherwhise the input/output get mixed and this makes play muds hard.
this mode is seperated by an line filled with "-". I _THINK_ this is the problem. this line mess up the a11y somehow.

6. type "#help" again
orca announces:
BREAK, BUFFER[...]
so "ACTION, ALIAS, ALL, BELL" is missing. this happens with every text.

what happens:
first line is missing:
what does i expect:
orca is able to read all the text.

it would great if this works. tintin is a wide spread MUD client (mostly used by visual impaired people, in lack due other games)
