Description Ondrej Holy 2015-12-11 09:35:07 UTC
phone-apple-iphone-symbolic icon is already included in the theme, however phone-apple-iphone icon is missing. We use this icon for AFC devices in GVfs. The symbolic icon is properly shown in Nautilus, but shell notification is without the icon... See attachment 317159 [details] (phone-apple-iphone icon is the third).

Shouldn't be the icon fallbacked to generic phone icon by default?
Comment 1 Jakub Steiner 2017-09-26 16:43:01 UTC
As is the case most of the time, the existence of non-generic icons in the symbolic theme was only a temporary work around. I certainly don't intend to add more specific icons into the fullcolor set, but we should perhaps re-investigate if we need to ship all these hacks with the symbolic theme.

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all older bug reports and feature requests in GNOME Bugzilla which have not seen updates for a while.

If you still use adwaita-icon-theme and if you still see this bug / want this feature in a recent and currently supported version, then please feel free to report it at
