Description coreboc 2015-11-19 10:42:51 UTC
would it be possible to add some more options to the columns in list view? I'm especially looking for video information like length, codec information, resolution, bitrate/kbps. like having a resolution column for pictures. at the moment one can inspect an audio/video file with the program mediainfo (when installed - right click on file>open with>mediainfo to get a full description of the media file). we would then be able to organize and sort upon these informations which is especially useful for those working a lot with media like preparing projects for video editing, managing converted recordings, extracted audio or putting together all sorts of media projects, but it would make gnome-files a more robust tool for regular users too.

I think list view is precisely for that, to show lot of info if the user wants. However is not in the top prio things to implement, so if someone comes with a patch, I will be happy to take a look.
