The new rename dialog is hard to work with when renaming files with long names in list view  (see the attached screenshot).

The text box is so small that it takes a lot of scrolling and makes it difficult. In contrast, the previous in-row editor was taking up all the available width.

My suggestion would be to make the dialog box wider when the file name is long enough and the parent window wide enough. It could work for all views, not just list view.

This has already been reported and was fixed with commit fbf09c8fc2793e0db4b67c967252dd7be29888344
