Description Jakub Steiner 2015-11-12 15:35:56 UTC
We use the rj45 female ethernet plug for the network wired device. This brings a couple of issues. It is quite close to the outline of an empty battery, it hints to a disconnected state, rather than a connected one and last but not least, it is way common to find a symbol of three connected computers (rectangles) on most hardware.

We should use the common metaphor here.

- connected computers/boxes are a common metaphor used in
  other operating systems and hardware.
