Planning to use python along with GNOME terminal for some of my languague computing related works in Tamil Languague  . But Tamil is not rendering properly .I have changed the settings to UTF-8 . But even then its not working properly .

Eg , while the word which I have keyed in are இது இன்று (Please copy paste this in terminal) the rendering is deviating for normal . (Please see the attachment)
