Steps to reproduce:
- try to open the attached wingding.ttf font file with gnome-font-viewer
=> CRASH
The error message is:

(gnome-font-viewer:6197): Pango-CRITICAL **: pango_find_base_dir: assertion 'text != NULL || length == 0' failed
Erreur de segmentation

This is reproduced on debian jessie (using gnome-3.14).
