>Synopsis: Crash logging into gnome
>Class: sw-bug
System: PII300x2, Mandrake 8.1

>Description:
Thsi morning I found my system at a black screen. had to hard reboot. Now when I log into the graphical gnome interface, I get the following error:

Application "panel" (process 2349) has crashed
due to a fatal error.
(Segmentation fault)

Everytime I close the dialog, a new one pops up the exact same (just different process IDs). I'm unable to log into Ximian Gnome now.

>How-To-Repeat:
reboot. It doesn't matter if I say Clean slate or Restore State.
