Description Egmont Koblinger 2015-11-03 21:28:20 UTC
In Preferences -> Shortcuts there's an entry under Edit for "Clear Find Highlight".

In the actual Edit menu there's no such entry.

Is this something obsolete that should be removed? Or added back to the menu?

Pressing its shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+J by default) does _not_ clear the find highlight, but it breaks the up/down arrows in the search popover. I have to close & reopen it to be usable again.

s/Edit/Find/g, sorry
Comment 2 Egmont Koblinger 2015-11-03 21:31:58 UTC
Actually... It's called "Find" in the shortcut editor, but it's "Search" in the menubar. This should also be fixed.

Agreed.

Fixed with the gmenu port.
