GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 757475
e^(-0.5) gives a very wrong solution.
Last modified: 2016-01-21 15:09:14 UTC
Created attachment 314634 [details] Screenshot of the bug. Well, pretty easy to reproduce: Type in e^(-0.5) or e^(-1/2) in the calculator. You should be getting 0.606... , instead you get around 1.071508607 x 10 power 301. Everything around gives the right result (e^(-0.5000000001) or e^(-0.4999999)). Screenshot attached.
Just seen the bug elsewhere. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 756960 ***
