Description Britt Yazel 2015-10-25 17:46:28 UTC
I am not sure why this is not an option already, nor whether or not it is an exposed setting in xinput or lininput, but I request options be added to the mouse and touchpad settings to adjust the scroll speed.

This concern was raised to me by a colleague whom was trying out Gnome for the first time, and one of his chief complaints was that he wanted to adjust how many lines were scrolled per notch on his mouse-wheel, but could not.

Further, with many people on laptops using two-finger gestures to scroll, there are probably individuals that would like to adjust the rate at which the screen scrolls, much in the same way as they control the speed of the cursor.

Please consider adding these options in your ongoing changes to Gnome-Control-Center.

Because it's not a problem in GNOME but underlying libraries. See bug 692666.
