GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 756902
Sticky Keys - visual notification missing
Last modified: 2015-10-21 11:46:37 UTC
Description of problem: Sticky Keys helps people who are unable to press more keys together. Modifiers could be pressed one by one and non-modifier key at the end. It can take a while for some motorically impaired to subsequently press a long key sequence (e. g. Fn+ctrl+alt+super+delete) and near the end they should not be sure which modifiers are already pressed. There is no way to see somewhere (e. g. as a notification) which modifiers are registered as pressed. Version-Release number of selected component: control-center-3.14.5-8.el7.x86_64 control-center-3.16.3-1.fc22.x86_64 Additional info: The requested functionality is already available in some other systems/environments (like Mac OS X). The issue is also filed in Red Hat Bugzilla - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1273800
(In reply to bmilar from comment #0) <snip> > Additional info: > The requested functionality is already available in some other > systems/environments (like Mac OS X). Screenshots? Links? It wouldn't be implemented in the Settings directly anyway, so reassigning.
