GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 756668
Search field: keywords in gnome-sofware are not spelled correctly because every letter appears twice
Last modified: 2017-02-17 11:51:38 UTC
AFAIK the whole idea of gnome-software is that you put some keyword and it will attempt to output data from its indexed data and share/showcase a program that you could install to do your bidding. Now I tried to enter the term 'blogging' just to test it and it entered it as 'blloogggiinng' . Now before people say it might be a slow machine or the search responding slowly or that the typist maybe making mistake, none of the three scenarios work otherwise I would have had done something similar here. Look forward to some sort of resolution on the above.
