GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 756487
Suggestion: Rename catalogs to album, collection or something else more describing.
Last modified: 2020-11-14 09:12:53 UTC
While doing an translation of gThumb I noticed that the word catalog is used when talking about a more abstract view/collection than pure physical folders/catalogs i.e directorys. I choose for now to translate this usage as album, which is fitting with the other abstractions i.e. library and so on. I suggest that the textdomain usage of catalog is changed to album, collection or something else more describing than catalog, which makes one think of pure file directorys/folders and is a bit confusing.
