Description Egmont Koblinger 2015-10-02 20:59:44 UTC
Move the mouse over a URL so that it's underlined.

Press Alt+Tab or something similar to leave the mouse there above the URL, but move the focus to a different window. (Make sure the new window doesn't cover the cursor, it's still over vte.)

Notice that the URL is no longer underlined.

Move the mouse away, and then back over the URL. It is underlined again.

We should be consistent on whether we're underlining in an unfocused window.

I tend to go for underlining in that case too.

This might help us clean the code and get rid of show_match (which would come handy for bug 741728 [recognize numbers as regexps but don't underline them] anyways).

Also there's the infamous focus-in/out bug.

I can no longer reproduce this (and even if I could, I'd address it soon in bug 789536).
