Description:
I have experienced intermittent panel crashes since setting the
background setting to "translucent".  On this occasion the crash
occurred after I started up "xplanet" from an already open "aterm". XMMS
and evolution were also running at the time. I cannot reproduce the
error.

I use gnome-libs-1.4.1.4-1.ximian.3 and 
gnome-core-1.4.0.6-1.ximian.2

Should be fixed with panel 1.4.1. This looks like the bug 59500 family.
