Live preview of selection editing

Hi,

It would be helpful to have live preview of active selection (matching ants) in progress. Currently, when I use the Alpha to Selection and I want to shrink or grow, I am not able to see the extent of the selection being edited until it's committed. This makes me repeat the process if I am not satisfied with the previous operation.

Please, see attached posibility for your consideration.

Best regards.

Joseph

Is this related to alpha to selection at all? You are asking for a live
preview of grow/shrink/border selection, right?
Comment 2 josephbupe 2015-09-24 12:07:39 UTC
Yes, I am refering to the gro/shrink/border selection.

IMHO, it would be better something like this: http://s29.postimg.org/qs0s826mf/live_preview_of_selection_edit.jpg

Regards.

And the selection you get around an image/pixel when you right-click the layer and apply Alpha to Selection.

Cheers.

I see, that would IMO make a lot of sense. We have all the infrastructure
for something like that, but it would have to be adapted to be applied
to selections.
