Description javiermon 2015-09-24 07:30:59 UTC
Hi

I've recently updated to fedora 23 Beta and web (epiphany) doesn't load slack.com website correctly. I'm using web 3.17.91 since at the time of this report 3.18 is still not in the

On fedora 22 with web 3.16 it worked (and I was using it as a web application). I've tried clearing cache, cookies, but the result is always the same, the loading page comes up, then the channels view is shown but the contents aren't.

I've tested this page to see if there was something wrong but all tests pass: https://slack.com/help/test

Thanks,

It's probably a WebKit bug. Could you install Fedora's webkitgtk4-devel package, then run /usr/bin/MiniBrowser and see if the bug occurs there? If so, please report the bug to https://bugs.webkit.org/ including a link to this bug report and noting the webkitgtk4 version/revision number.

There's almost no chance of this being fixed without help from the Slack developers. If they can figure out what is broken, we can fix it in WebKit. Thanks for taking the time to report this.
