GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 755338
circles badly rendered with stroke selection
Last modified: 2015-09-28 15:11:03 UTC
Created attachment 311741 [details] odd, unclean rendering of dotted lines -stroke path in circles- tracing a circle/ellipse looks not only optimal, but has some problems to calculate the right distance between empty spaces, and the rendering of the line segments itself, they look jaggy and not clean.
Is this a stroked path, or a stroked selection? And what were the settings used to stroke it?
its a stroked selection the settings are: 1- open the trace dialog under the selection dialog 2- click on predefined line style #4 3- leave the other options on default and confirm
Yes, this is how selections are stroked (you are stroking a pixel mask, as the selection isn't a vector object). The approach to take there is to create a path from the selection and stroke that.
This is actually a duplicate of a very old bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 50730 ***
