GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 755137
Design: Show (some) terminal applications in gnome-software
Last modified: 2015-09-19 22:55:23 UTC
From the gnome software manager, you can not install terminal applications, or applications without gui . I think it would be a good idea to show some of these applications to be easily detected and installed by novice users. These applications will contemplate appdata requirement and have a desktop launcher. This improvement report comes from the idea of being able to easily install and launch R in the gnome desktop. Isn't it a duplicate of bug 711638?
