Effects preview showing nothing

Using git master of cheese, clutter, clutter-gst-3.

Main window works well showing image from my webcam,
as soon as I click "effects" button the usual preview of effects load showing only blank boxes.

As a side note, changing resolution of webcam image, shows also white effects preview, but boxes are larger (the first image was taken with 320x180, the attached image is taken with 1280x760).

The visiblity of the video content on the effect preview is fixed on master with commit ec346d74821444506fca27dbd43ff4ab32872bfd. However, the scaling to the window dimensions seems broken (as it is for the main preview. I will deal with that issue separately.
