Description Markus Ortel 2015-08-27 13:55:06 UTC
I build Gnome ToDo (3.17.4) with jhbuild, but was not able to see, edit all of my Google task list.
Also adding a new task list to Google storage location, doesn't work.

This is a known issue, and I have a bad new: I won't be fixed before 3.18.

what happens is that Evolution-Data-Server does ~not~ support creating new task lists (or calendars) on GOA accounts. As described in the To Do Roadmap [1], it'll require a _huge_ work on other pieces of code to make it happen. Obviously I'm sick enought to try and make it.

Georges where is the work happening on this? ToDo is something we need on gnome, and would love to contribute

I didn't start the work yet. I can't give exact dates or months, but I'm planning to work on it for GNOME 3.20 release.

There are many tasks you can help with. At the moment, testing and bug reporting are my priorities, but you can also do documentation.

I agree and it will take more time.

I am looking towards more coding part. Any of minor features or blocking bugs?

I don't understand. EDS can't sync with all task lists from google. It only syncs with default main task list.

With EDS backend gnome-todo should be able to view and sync that task list. No? Even if I add Google-Task in evolution I can't see that task-lists appear in Gnome-Todo. Why?

In case it saves anyone else fifteen seconds, it looks as though this is now the correct link: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-todo/issues/45
