Description Piotr Drąg 2015-08-24 19:03:34 UTC
Many strings in gnome-todo appear to be properties, which are invisible in the user interface (AFAIK visible only in Glade), and therefore shouldn't be marked for translation. It's unnecessary work for translators, and no other app in GNOME does that.
Comment 1 Georges Basile Stavracas Neto 2015-08-25 02:31:43 UTC
While I think it may overload translators, these days we have GtkInspector, which display properties' descriptions. I find it useful to have them translated into my mother tongue when needed.

If you still think it's not a good idea to keep them translatable, please reply to this thread, otherwise I'll just close it.
Comment 2 André Klapper 2015-08-27 13:42:55 UTC
If those strings are not in the UI and not GSettings descriptions either and are really only visible in Glade then you should not make dozens of translation teams spend time translating them.
