Hi all, so this is the case. Running colormrg get-devices, ONLY returns one printer, something weird taking into account that I'm using a laptop... dafero@archenvy ~> colormgr get-devices Object Path: /org/freedesktop/ColorManager/devices/cups_LaserJet_1018 Owner: root Created: August 5 2015, 05:39:49 PM Modified: August 5 2015, 05:39:49 PM Type: printer Enabled: Yes Embedded: No Model: Generic text-only printer Vendor: Generic Serial: dnssd://HP%20LaserJet%201018%20%40%20archberry._ipp._tcp.local/cups?uuid=ad5b8861-ffe9-3e2a-6cd8-75edcf587aed Format: ColorSpace.MediaType.Resolution Scope: temp Colorspace: gray Device ID: cups-LaserJet-1018 Profile 1: LaserJet-1018-Gray.. Thank you! Daniel.
Some updates on this. Seems the update to the latest version of colord (1.2.11-1) triggered this issue. There must be an incompatibility between gnome-settings-daemon 3.16.3-1 and colord 1.2.11-1. Cheers, Daniel.
I can confirm that downgrading colord to the previous version (1.2.9-3) fixes the problem.
Could you try git master and tell me if that fixes the problem please. Thanks.
I couldn't install it. I got this error while compiling it Making all in man make[2]: Entering directory '/home/dafero/git/gnome-settings-daemon/man' GEN gnome-settings-daemon.1 I/O error : Attempt to load network entity http://docbook.sourceforge.net/release/xsl/current/manpages/docbook.xsl warning: failed to load external entity "http://docbook.sourceforge.net/release/xsl/current/manpages/docbook.xsl" cannot parse http://docbook.sourceforge.net/release/xsl/current/manpages/docbook.xsl Makefile:637: recipe for target 'gnome-settings-daemon.1' failed make[2]: *** [gnome-settings-daemon.1] Error 4 make[2]: Leaving directory '/home/dafero/git/gnome-settings-daemon/man' Makefile:516: recipe for target 'all-recursive' failed make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/dafero/git/gnome-settings-daemon' Makefile:448: recipe for target 'all' failed make: *** [all] Error 2 I tried several times in different moments. I always hit the same error. Thanks
