Description Joseba García Etxebarria 2015-08-03 08:45:42 UTC
Good morning,

When running meld in Spanish, the button that reads "Blank comparison" in English is translated as "Limpiar comparación" (https://git.gnome.org/browse/meld/tree/po/es.po#n1223). I'm a native Spanish speaker and that sounds wrong to me.

The literal meaning of "Limpiar comparación" could be "Clean up comparison" in the sense that there are things in the translation dialog that the user might want to clean. I believe that is not the intended meaning and therefore propose something like "Comparación vacía" or "Comparación en blanco".

If this is not the right place for posting this, please let me know and I'll post it there.

Kind regards and thanks for your very useful product,
Joseba

Thanks for the bug report. I'm moving it to the l10n component for the translation team.

This problem has been fixed in the unstable development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. You may need to upgrade your Linux distribution to obtain that newer version.

Thanks!
