Description Kilian Zott 2015-07-20 18:44:56 UTC
When I want to delete a single instance of a recurring event, evolution will delete all events.
I do this by right-clicking an instance of a recurring event and selecting "Dieses Vorkommen löschen" (delete this instance).
Expected behaviour is that evolution will add an exception date to the event.
Manually adding an exception is a possible workaround.
I can reproduce this bug with 3.16 and current live ebuild (3.17.90) on gentoo.
The problem occurs for me with caldav, but is also reproducible by using a local calendar.

I updated from 3.12.11 to 3.16.3, so it is also possible that 3.14 is affected.

Thanks for a bug report. You are right, deleting "this occurrence" deletes whole series. I made a mistake with one of my changes. By the way, there was no evolution 3.14, that version series was completely skipped.
