media-libs/gst-plugins-bad-0.10.23-r2 : external qa issue
Last modified: 2015-07-12 22:17:07 UTC
Hello, a Gentoo Linux Quality Assurance issue was reported at my tinderbox [1] while building your software. Such reported issues are often correct. Otherwise it would be interesting why the issue is a false positive in your eyes. [1] http://www.zwiebeltoralf.de/tinderbox/index.html ============================================================================= QA: other QA Notice: Package triggers severe warnings which indicate that it may exhibit random runtime failures. /var/tmp/portage/media-libs/gst-plugins-bad-0.10.23-r2/work/gst-plugins-bad-0.10.23/gst/removesilence/vad_private.c:77:26: warning: argument to 'sizeof' in 'memset' call is the same expression as the destination; did you mean to dereference it? [-Wsizeof-pointer-memaccess] Please do not file a Gentoo bug and instead report the above QA issues directly to the upstream developers of this software. Homepage: http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/
Thanks for the bug report, but the GStreamer 0.10 is very outdated and no longer maintained. Please feel free to re-open this bug if the issue stil exists in a recent 1.x version, thanks!
