Description darren 2015-07-08 01:56:46 UTC
Open an email message.

Print it. (Print to file or to actual printer.)

If the result is multiple pages, very often a line of text is split between pages. I.e. the top of the text is at the bottom of page N, the bottom of the text is at the top of page N+1.

It appears that the text is laid out as an image and then dumped out to the printer without regard for the location of the page breaks.

This is really unprofessional and unsatisfactory.

I am printing off a contract that will result in legal proceedings and it's just not acceptable to have a line that is genuinely illegible.

I am using Evolution under KDE if that has something to do with it. All packages are the latest that ship with openSUSE 13.2.
