Description Anand 2002-03-18 05:34:37 UTC
The latest gnome 2.0 was built on the 17th Mar.

When the notes sidebar is opened and folder/file information is entered,
the text scrolls past the sidebar panel.

It needs to have an auto word wrap (as in nautilus for Gnome 1.4) or
atleast a scrollbar.

Very borderline high, but very ugly/awkward. Dave, can you take a look
at this?

Damon: please add PATCH and sun_patches to bugs when you add patches.
Thanks.
Comment 4 Damon Chaplin 2002-04-26 19:48:37 UTC
patch applied. closing.
Comment 5 Anand 2002-07-10 10:27:17 UTC
Damon: I see that the letters keep scrolling past the notes sidebar
when i keep typing continuously, without providing any space in
between words. Is it not possible to push the characters to the next
line automatically when the end of the notes sidebar is reached?

Like for instance, this "Additional Comments" text box in bugzilla
where we type our comments

Lets forget it, if its a very hard fix :)

Reopening for the moment. Please close if this cannot be fixed.
Comment 6 Luis Villa 2002-07-12 20:29:18 UTC
Re-triaging/re-titling to reflect what is left.
Comment 7 Luis Villa 2002-07-30 20:23:09 UTC
What's left is better discussed in another bug.
