Dear evince community,
I use evince on Windows and Linux boxes. It is always the same, to save annotations in a PDF file I have to save the file under a new name. This is quite uncomfortable. Are you aware of this behaviour?

+1 for adding "Save" option.

PS. This makes Evince hard to use in combination with Zotero for example.

I also have the Zotero use-case. There should be an easy way to save to the original file.
It just should be clear to the user, because this is not what everybody wants. But if it's labelled "Save annotations to original file" or similar, it should be clear.
